One of the most anticipated events in Los Angeles, is the L.A. Auto Show at the end of November. Building up to all the excitement, we will embark on unique tours geared towards car enthusiasts and the curious alike.
Each day of the week brings a new and exciting opportunity
Thursday:
We begin our adventure with a trip to an incredible car museum in Sylmar. Where we will enjoy a 90 minute tour of the Nethercutt Collection viewing an opulent automobile grand saloon filled with treasures ranging from one of the world's most outstanding assortment of antique and classic automobiles, automobile mascots, antique furniture, antique clocks and one of the world's finest collections of mechanical musical instruments. After the incredible tour, we will explore the Nethercutt Museum showcasing more than 130 of the world greatest antique, classic and special interest automobiles. Plus, we will visit a 1937 Canadian Pacific Royal Hudson Locomotive and a fully restored 1912 Pullman Private Car belonging to Clara Baldwin. We will also stop into Barris Kustom Industries showroom, owned by the king of Kustomizers George Barris who created the Batmobile, Kitt from Knight Rider, Green Hornet, Munster's Koach plus many more iconic cars for films and celebrities alike.
Friday:
We follow the same itinerary as Thursdays, with an additional stop at Bob's Big Boy, a California Landmark for their weekly classic car show.
Saturday:
Bob's Big Boy takes us back to the 50's with their famous car hop service in addition to Thursday's itinerary.
Sunday:
Today our adventure takes us to the Automotive Driving Museum. With a rotating collection of over 130 antique and classical cars, this is the premier destination for Southern California's Car Enthusiasts. What makes this museum unique is that not only will you get to see an incredible collection, but you can touch and sit inside the cars as well. And just before you thought it couldn't get any better, you actually get to ride inside one of three antique cars showcased in the museum. Each week different cars are chosen for the Sunday ride along.
